Aialik Glacier

The name Aialik comes from Sugpiaq… and means “surprising place”. Getting a close up view of the Aialik Glacier calving is an experience that you’ll never forget.

Resurrection Bay offers endless views of jagged rock cliffs and alpine glaciers.  Cruises around the bay departing almost daily at several different times.

The Aialik is one of many glaciers in the Kenai Fjords National Park and is the largest in Aialik Bay.  Roughly 3.5 miles long and 1.5 miles wide it dwarfs these Harbor Seals.
